CHARLESTON, S.C. – A head-on collision Thursday morning near Courtenay Drive and the Crosstown in Charleston led to lane closures and significant traffic delays for drivers heading toward Lockwood Boulevard.

According to initial reports, one of the vehicles involved may have been traveling in the wrong direction at the time of the crash. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and traffic in the area was impacted as the situation was cleared.
